Background
Trenadie was placed with Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society after Hurricane Harvey by her owner. She had not been handled at all before coming to Bluebonnet, and her foster home got her healthy, weaned her from her dam, and started working with her. She met her adopter in July 2018, but she was returned because she has not grown as much as the adopter hoped and will be too small.

Trenadie was adopted and returned in 2026. Her previous adopter was not riding anymore and wanted Trenadie to continue to go on adventures.

Why This Horse is Amazing
Trenadie is a sweet, goofy, and incredibly curious mare who loves attention and tries her heart out every time she’s asked. She’s smart, eager to learn, and happiest when she has enrichment and consistent work to keep her mind engaged. Under saddle she can be a little speedy, but she settles well with guidance and truly enjoys jumping and pole work. She’s timid in new environments but willing, and she handled her beach trip with admirable bravery.

Trenadie needs an intermediate rider who can offer structure, confidence, and variety — she gets bored easily and thrives when her routine includes both arena work and fun challenges. With her kind nature, intelligence, and willingness, Trenadie has all the makings of a delightful partner for someone who enjoys bringing along a bright, sweet mare who loves to learn.
