Training & Abilities
Personality & Manners: • Sweet, affectionate pony who loves attention • Will “hug” your neck when she feels connected • Friendly with men, women, kids, and dogs • Food‑motivated but not aggressive • Enjoys treats • Doing well in turnout with a pasture mare • Good with older children on the ground • Foster is working on teaching her to ground tie • Will occasionally test her handler or rider Training & Abilities: • Easy to halter and catch • Stands tied quietly for grooming, baths, and fly spray • Great for the farrier; stands well • Prefers a slower pace when being led • Foster is working on teaching her to ground tie • Is broke to ride • Has been ridden in open field at a walk while at her foster home, although her previous owners said she had been ridden at all gaits when younger. • Has been ridden in a western saddle Care: • May need joint support (glucosamine recommended). • Gigi is listed for light to moderate riding. This means no jumping, playdays, endurance, hard trails. Walk, trot, and canter should be fine, although the emphasis should be on walk and trot. Why she’s Amazing: Gigi is a sweet, affectionate horse who loves attention and will even “hug” your neck when she feels connected. She’s friendly with men, women, kids, and dogs, and she’s been great with older children on the ground. Food‑motivated but never pushy, she enjoys treats and settles well in turnout with a pasture mare. She may test her handler now and then, but she responds well to consistency. She’s already broke to ride and has been ridden at a walk in an open field.
