Background
El Dorado was transferred to Bluebonnet through a neglect case. While we knew very little about his past, that hasn’t slowed us down in helping him heal, learn, and move toward the forever home he deserves. His foster helped him gain weight and shared that he’s incredibly sweet. He’s now working with a trainer, learning new things and building confidence as he continues his journey toward finding his forever home.

Why This Horse is Amazing
El Dorado is the kind of horse who makes life easier and more enjoyable. He’s sweet, steady, and loves attention, with the kind of gentle personality that makes him a favorite. He’s easy to handle, loads himself, and gets along with every animal on the farm — dogs, cats, chickens, goats, donkeys, mares, geldings, and kids. Under saddle, he’s relaxed, willing, and happiest in a home where he can enjoy moderate riding. He shines on trails and ranch‑style obstacles, and he even handled his first show and trail course like a seasoned pro.

El Dorado would make a wonderful partner for a trail rider wanting a dependable, ready‑to‑go horse or a lesson horse who will patiently teach kids and soak up all the brushing and affection they can give. He doesn’t require special maintenance, enjoys simple routines, and brings a calm, reassuring presence wherever he goes.
