Personality & Manners
- Curious, reactive, and very smart — wants to see things, think, and then accept them.
- Loves to work and learn; has a huge work ethic.
- Enjoys meeting new people and visiting new places (feed stores, friends’ barns, etc.).
- Good with mares; likely to do well in mixed groups of geldings and mares.
- Has been around kids 5+ but needs supervision due to age.
- Tiny! Measured at 8.1 hands.
- Thrives with someone who enjoys training, liberty work, obstacles, and keeping her mind busy.
- Travels calmly and confidently.
- Picks up new skills quickly and retains them.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and always ready to work — “Ever‑Ready Bunny” personality.
Training & Abilities
- Easy to catch in a large pasture; comes when called.
- Halters easily and walks politely next to handler.
- Loads into a slant‑load trailer all by herself — hops right in.
- Stands ground‑tied; still a little wiggly but improving.
- Great for grooming, bathing, fly spray, and farrier.
- Stands quietly for clippers; bridle path clipped without issue.
- Introduced to obstacles and new environments with confidence.
- Learning to accept a handler on both sides; gaining confidence in her right eye.
- Lunges in round pen and on lunge line at walk/trot/canter both directions.
- Introduced to obstacles, trails, other arenas, and feed stores.
- Ground ties.
- Desensitized to flag, ball, tarp.
- Beginning surcingle work; preparing for ground‑driving.
- Improving with hind‑foot handling; fronts are solid.
Care Needs & Behavior
- Can be “nippy” when bored — needs mental engagement.
- Not suited for small‑child ownership — too smart, too driven.
Why This Horse is Amazing
Lil Ginger Snap is a tiny powerhouse with a huge personality and an even bigger work ethic. She’s smart, curious, and eager to learn, meeting every new challenge with enthusiasm. She loads herself into the trailer, explores new environments with confidence, and retains training beautifully. Because she’s reactive, clever, and driven, she’s not suited for small‑child ownership — she needs someone who enjoys training, obstacles, liberty work, and keeping a bright young mind engaged.

With her adorable size, sharp intelligence, and endless willingness, Lil Ginger Snap is the perfect partner for someone who wants a talented miniature horse with the heart of a full‑sized athlete. She loves having a job, thrives on learning, and will shine with a handler who appreciates her spark and drive.
