Background
My Legacy was donated to us when her owner could no longer care for her and wanted her to be cherished just as deeply as she had been. She came from a home that loved her, and her donor wanted to be sure she found a future where she would be appreciated, protected, and given every chance to shine.

- Ridden in a snaffle bit and hackamore.
- Lunges on a lunge line at walk, trot, and canter in both directions.
- Ridden at walk, trot, and canter in arena and open pasture.
- Introduced to obstacles, trails, and multiple arenas.

- With continued training, could potentially become a kid’s horse in the future.
Care Needs & Behavior
- Big, confident mare who knows her size and will test boundaries.
- Legacy has experienced summer allergies and was successfully treated with medicated shampoo and an allergy injection. She may benefit from similar seasonal support in the future to keep her comfortable during peak allergy months.
Why This Horse is Amazing
My Legacy is the kind of mare who makes you feel proud to partner with her. She’s willing to try whatever you point her at. She explores with curiosity, settles with reassurance, and handles busy environments with surprising maturity for a horse still gaining experience. She’s big, athletic, and capable — but also kind, thoughtful, and genuinely connected to her rider.

She’s adaptable, learns quickly, and has already shown she can handle new places, new people, and new challenges with grace. My Legacy is the type who could grow into a truly dependable partner: one who can take time off, come back with a quick refresher, and continue progressing. With consistent boundaries and continued training, she has the potential to become a solid family horse down the road.

For adopters looking for a horse with athletic ability, and a bright future, My Legacy is a standout. She’s ready for someone who wants a capable, willing mare they can develop into something special.
