Sookie

Sookie and her herdmates were removed from negligent owners by law enforcement and placed with BEHS. When she arrived, she was pregnant and gave birth to a foal several months later. Both Sookie and her baby Melody moved to a new foster home in 2011. A few months later that home adopted Melody but continued to foster Sookie. Then a year later, the foster home decided that Sookie had won her heart and adopted her as well!

Personality & Manners
Training & Abilities
Sookie doesn't appear to have had much good handling before coming to BEHS. She's nervous with new people and is going to need an adopter who is willing to work with her, win her trust and get her started under saddle. She's a pretty mare with a lot of potential - and still young enough to train!
Care Needs & Behavior
No known problems.
